Video: Columbus Police Department Turkey Drive
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)—It’s that time of year again and the Columbus Police Department needs our help.
The annual Turkey Drive is well under way.
Officers are asking the community to bring and drop off turkeys for the Annual Community Thanksgiving Meal.
Residents can find drop off locations at the Columbus Parks and Recreation center and the police station.
Officer Rhonda sanders says Their goal this year is to collect 90 Turkeys. They currently have 52.
The last day to drop off your turkey is Friday. The community Thanksgiving Feast will take place on Thanksgiving.
