VIDEO: Creating A Healthier Community

STARKVILLE, Miss.(WCBI)—The Starkville – Oktibbeha School District Family Center is helping the entire family get a head start on healthcare.

It hosted a free health screening at the J.L King Center this afternoon. The Family Center has hosted the event for 10 years.

Pennsylvania Doctor John Gill was invited to provide the screenings. It included; blood pressure, weight, height, and blood sugar check.

The event is paid for by a grant from Families First for Mississippi.
