Video: Deputies Search For Driver In Fatal Hit & Run

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Deputies in Oktibbeha County are searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit and run accident.

Lt. Brett Watson says two cars were involved and one car drove off.

Oktibbeha County Coroner, Michael Hunt, says 23 year old Dshante Nix of Starkville is the man who was killed after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday evening on Old Highway 25 just north of Poorhouse Road.

Nix was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
