COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – With the Martin Luther King, J. national holiday a week away, Dream 365 held it’s grand opening at the Columbus Arts Council Monday night. The Columbus community came out to support the traveling art exhibit “Birmingham: The Movement that Changed the World”. It includes original artifacts from the Civil Rights era like segregated water fountains and arrests records from those who marched for freedom. The week long celebration will also include a spelling bee contest, film night, spoken word, comedy night and gospel concert. For more information about the events, go to http://www.dream365.info/.
