MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – In what has become an Easter Weekend tradition in Macon, more than a hundred children turned out with bags and baskets Friday morning.
The youngsters were on the hunt for thousands of Easter Eggs hidden on the grounds of Noxubee General Hospital..
And even though volunteers helping the Easter Bunny did a good job hiding the eggs, all of the children came away with pretty good hauls.
“We got our county-wide Easter Egg Hunt. This is the 8th Year that we have done it, and the reason we do it. We just get all of the children together, all county-wide, so they can come and hunt Easter Eggs and have fun”
There were also prizes for the kids, including a fully-stocked Easter Basket.
