VIDEO: Elvis Tribute

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- It was an evening of gospel songs and rock and roll favorites, recorded by Tupelo’s most famous native son, Elvis Presley.

Elvis Tribute Artist Travis LeDoyt belted out a wide range of songs covering Elvis’ career during a two plus hour show Saturday night.

The event was held at St James Catholic Church and was sponsored by the Tupelo Elvis Fan Club.

Proceeds will help the fan club continue its efforts to support charities.

Last year, the Tupelo Elvis Fan Club gave out more than 63 thousand dollars to non profits and high school seniors through a scholarship contest.

The fan club was formed to continue Elvis’ legacy of supporting worthy causes.
