LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Current Lowndes County Superintendent and former New Hope baseball coach Stacy Hester have run out of appeals. The Mississippi Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal case from Wright and Hester, meaning their 2010 termination by the school board has been upheld. Their attorney Jim Waide says no other measures can be taken.

The case has gone back and forth after several rulings were upheld and some tossed out.

Waide says any jury would have ruled in favor of the former coach and administrator but state law doesn’t allow for them to have a jury trial.
