Video: Guilty Plea Nets Calhoun County Man a Life Sentence

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a deadly Calhoun County home invasion.

Vintrell Bobo pleaded guilty to first degree murder Thursday.

District Attorney Ben Creekmoore says Bobo and another man went inside the home, demanded money, and then shot Kenneth Patterson Jr.

The home invasion happened near Pittsboro in December 2015.

Bobo was shot during the robbery by another person, who was able to escape.

Rocdriques Denton was also charged in the crime.

Creekmoore says that trial will happen in the near future.
