FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) — Twenty students at Itawamba Community College are vying to be this year’s Indian Idol. The W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center was the site of tonight’s opening round of competition. Judging is based on the same criteria as the popular “American Idol” program. The ten best contestants from tonight’s competition will advance to the second round April 16, and then the final five will compete April 23rd in the finale.

Indian Idol has become a very popular event for the students at the school.
