TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Thanks to some Japanese residents in our area, northeast Mississippi can see Glimpses in Japanese culture.

That is the name of the display currently being shown at Tupelo’s Oren Dunn museum. It was donated by Japanese residents who work at Toyota and related companies in the area.

Rae Mathias is Operations Manager at the museum. She says some of the donations came from the parents of children who attended a summer camp sponsored by Oren Dunn.

Mathias says the display will be at the museum until the end of the month.

She says Glimpses in Japanese Culture is just another example of how Tupelo has become a melting pot for various cultures.
