AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — One of Northeast Mississippi’s oldest and largest spring festivals crowns its kings and queens.
Dozens of children from just a few months to 18 years old competed Saturday in nine age groups in the annual Amory Railroad Festival pageants.
They’ll ride in the annual parade that kicks off the festival and reign over several activities during the three-day festival April 10th through 12th.
This is the festival’s 36th year.
This year’s pageants got a special treat. It was hosted by Miss Mississippi Chelsea Rick who was Miss Amory Railroad Festival last year.
