Video: Late-Afternoon Collision Sends 1 to Hospital

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A late-afternoon accident sent one to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the accident which took place shortly after 3:40 p.m. on 18th Avenue near the Hwy 82 onramp.

A white Nissan Altima and red Toyota Camry collided with each other, sending both vehicles off the road.

The driver of the Altima apparently received minor neck injuries, and was taken away from the scene in an ambulance.

The driver of the Camry appeared uninjured.

Columbus police are handling the investigation.
