Video: Library Celebrates Mother Goose’s 30th Anniversary

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — It’s the Year of the Goose in Columbus, and no better way to celebrate than with a picnic with the Friendly City’s namesake.

Edwina Williams – also known as Mother Goose – hosted the event on the lawn of the Stephen D. Lee home Friday night.

Residents sipped tea, and snacked on sandwiches and cookies, while enjoying live music and games.

This celebration marks Mother Goose’s 30th year with the Columbus Lowndes Public Library.
