Video: Lip Sync Battle Raises Money for Women’s Non-Profit

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) –That is not Mick Jagger, but it is WCBI’s Allie Martin, portraying the well known front man in the first “Ultimate Lip Sync Battle.”

It took place Tuesday night at Steele’s Dive in Tupelo.

There were other locals lip syncing to songs such as Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” , a number from the “Phantom of the Opera” , Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” along with other famous songs and artists.

The event served as a fundraiser for a non profit known as New Ms.

“New Ms. is an organization that supports and promotes women within the community. And we also help women and children in our area that fall through the cracks that can’t be helped by any other non-profit “

New Expectations For Women In Mississippi will host a “Women’s Conference” October 27th, featuring Black Hawk helicopter pilot Elizabeth McCormick.
