VIDEO: Local Restaurant Raises Funds For Make A Wish

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)-

A Northeast Mississippi restaurant partners with Make A Wish for a major fundraiser.

The “Bim Bam” Burger location in Tupelo has featured free, live concerts in its parking lot.

There are also raffle items, and a portion of the food sales from Friday and Saturday will go to Make A Wish.

This is the first time the restaurant has hosted a fundraiser for the well known charity and the owner of “Bim Bam Burgers” says it’s important to give back.

“One of the main reasons why I am where I am today and the fact that I own five restaurants is I’ve been blessed with the gift of giving, I believe if you help people that are in need, you will be blessed with the ability to do so.” said Tony Barragan.

The free concerts feature “American Idol” finalist Thomas Stringfellow, and “Crossin Dixie” from Hamilton, Alabama.
