COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – North Mississippi veterans are showing support for those participating in the Million Vet March.

Even though they couldn’t physically be in Washington, D.C. for the march, dozens of local vets with the Columbus chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America met Sunday morning to say they’re upset with the federal government, and concerned over how those who’ve served in the military are being treated.

Members say they hope to reach out to not just those who served in Vietnam, but other wars as well.
