UNDATED, Miss. (WCBI)-Twenty Northeast Mississippi high school students are part of an international champion musical group. The Mississippi Lions Club All-State Band has won the 96th International Convention Parade of Nations competition in Germany. It marked the 10th time in the last 12 years the band has won the title and the 29th time since 1951. The ban is made up of 114 musicians and performers from across the state. Students from Amory, Booneville, Mooreville, Pontotoc, New Albany, Starkville, Oxford, Tupelo and Kosciusko are members of the band. The students are touring Germany and Austria while in Europe and will return later this month.
