NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – The city of New Albany has just about wrapped up some much needed road resurfacing.

Highland Street was one of several that has been resurfaced.

Mayor Tim Kent says two-and-a-half miles have been completed, and with some continued warmer weather, they hope to wrap up all the road projects for this year.

He says some delays by the contractor had caused problems for motorists who complained of the rough condition of the roads that had been milled while waiting for the work to resume.
