STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — He doesn’t officially take over for a few more months, but Jeremy Nicholas is getting familiar with his new surroundings. Nicholas spent the day touring the campus and introducing himself to faculty, staff, and students.  He comes from Park Place Christian Academy in Pearl, and has also been a coach and administrator at Jackson Prep.

He will be replacing “Doc” Stephens at the end of the school year, and has a vision for expanding the school’s reach in the area.

“Mr. Stephens, the current head of the school, who is retiring, has done a fantastic job here, and he has laid a good foundation for things to come in the future. We look forward to expanding upon that, and, hopefully, to be an outreach to not just this community, but to the Golden Triangle Area and North Mississippi as a whole”

Nicholas starts work July 7th, and one of his first orders of business will be to direct the search for a new Elementary principal.
