Video: Old Annex Building to be Demolished

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — After some discussion, Winston County supervisors have voted to take bids to demolish the old Annex Building.

Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh says the building has serious problems, including a leaky roof, termites, and no air conditioning.

Pugh says repairs would cost more than the building is worth.

The county has plans to replace the dilapidated structure with a three-story building to provide more space for county officers.

The date for the removal of the building has not yet been set.
