Video: Open House Held at Columbus Air Force Base

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The calendar may say the holidays are over, but that doesn’t mean everyone is through celebrating.

Columbus Air Force Base Commander Jim Sears and his wife, Vickie, welcomed the new year with the annual commander’s open house, Saturday.

The event gives base leaders a chance to thank the community and area businesses for their support, and to discuss plans for the new year.

It also gives local, civic and business leaders a final chance during the holidays to catch up.
