PONTOTOC, Miss. (WCBI)-Here’s a good reason to head to the square in Pontotoc. Farmers and other local vendors will be selling their fresh from the farm produce at “Off The Square Market” downtown. Plans are being finalized for the project, a pavilion located on the south side of the old sunflower parking lot.The planning committee has budgeted $150,000 dollars for construction of the pavilion and public restrooms. If approved by the Pontotoc Aldermen, eleven bays, complete with water and electricity will be built along Jefferson Street. Plans also include an arbored entrance.
