[bitsontherun yeaRPHSA]STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -There was a nice turn out this Wednesday afternoon at Mississippi State’s Humphrey Coliseum to raise money for a good cause.

It’s the fourth year the fundraiser “Up Til Dawn” has been held at MSU. Thursday was their letter writing event where participates were able to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. Last year, they raised over $15,000 and this year they are hoping to do just he same or more.

“They are writing letters to their family and friends to raise money for st. Jude Children’s Hospital. It cost about $1.5 million a day to run St. Judes, so that’s where we come in and there’s Up til dawn organization all over college campus’ across the country,”

There were games, food, door prizes and entertainment. Coach Dan Mullen was also part of the festivities.
