TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — More than four thousand people were blasted with a rainbow of colors as they ran through downtown Tupelo.

The first Color Vibe 5K was held at Fairpark.

Participants were blasted with colors such as pink, blue, purple, and green as they ran the course.

There was also a dance party, and part of the proceeds went to help the Family Resource Center of Tupelo.

This was the first Color Vibe, and organizers say they plan to make it an annual event.
