VIDEO: Sentence Delayed For Man Convicted Of Killing Infant Daughter

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Sentencing is delayed for an Itawamba County man convicted of killing his four-month old daughter.

Joshua Clark was in an Itawamba County courtroom Thursday morning.

District Attorney John Weddle says an issue came up this morning that requires more research and review.

Judge Thomas Gardner postponed the sentencing.

Clark was found guilty of second-degree murder last month.

Clark’s daughter, Kylie, died in 2008.

The Itawamba County Circuit Clerk’s office tells WCBI a motion has been filed for a new trial by Clark’s attorney’s.
