COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-The Martha Liddell era at Columbus Schools is officially over.

The district this morning voted to pay Liddell $10,000 to settle a lingering contract dispute arising from her June firing as Superintendent.

Other details of the settlement were not released.

The deal also means a due process hearing to explain why Liddell was fired will not take place.
