STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- Employees working for Mississippi State University’s research and technology park now have a new place to call home.

The city of Starkville’s Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for a new corporate housing development Tuesday night.

“300 Traditions” will provide tenants and their families with luxury condos. The new units will be located in research park, just across the street from MSU’s campus.

Researchers and people visiting the research center from around the country will now have the option to live and work nearby without having to travel.

Leaders working on the corporate housing units say this is the only one of its kind in the city and is a step forward for the community.

Developers expect to break ground on “300 traditions” by the beginning of next year.
