VIDEO: Starkville Elementary Schools Host Thanksgiving Meal

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Students and staff at elementary schools in Starkville hosted parents for an early Thanksgiving feast today, November 15.

School cafeteria staff served turkey, dressing, and all the trimmings to hundreds of guests.

Faculty and staff said it’s a time for students to enjoy time with family and reflect on the importance of the upcoming holiday.

“This is the time for the parents and the kids and the teachers to all sit down and be thankful for what we have,” said Principal Elizabeth Mosley, “and we encourage parents to come. It’s a fun day.”

School cafeterias hosted around 2,000 guests today.
