Video: Starkville Hosts Annual Main Street Awards

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- The people who keep Starkville’s downtown moving forward are honored Thursday night. The Starkville Main Street Association handed out its annual awards.

The group recognizes those who promote and enhance the main street district.

Thursday night’s winners included, Doodlebugs, A Southern Style Children’s Store, the Starkville PD and Jamison Fry Interiors.

“We look forward to this time every year because, we are able to gather with our general membership in the downtown area and really celebrate the successes downtown Starkville has seen in the last year, and share with our membership where we look to go over the coming year,” said event organizer Jennifer Prather.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation was named Partner of the Year.
