Video: String of Columbus Convenience Store Robberies May be the Work of One Bandit

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s a different store but the same M. O.. A third Columbus Convenience store is robbed, and the suspect description is a familiar one.

Just after 8 o’clock Tuesday night a man walked into the Sprint Mart on Highway 69 in Columbus..

According to police, he pulled a gun and demanded money. The clerk ran, locking herself in a backroom.

The suspect was unable to open the cash register..

As he was leaving, he reportedly robbed a customer in the store.

The alleged robber is described as a black male – 5′ 10″ tall with dreadlocks.

Police now believe he is the same man who robbed the Shell Station at 9th and Main July 17th and the Riverhill Chevron July 18th.
