Video: Sturgis Prepares For Future Disasters

STURGIS, Miss. (WCBI)-On this six month anniversary of the deadly tornadoes that left parts of Mississippi in shambles, Oktibbeha County wants all of their residents to be prepared for the next storm.

The fire station in the town of Sturgis was home to the Emergency Preparedness Meeting this evening.
State and local authorities from the Mississippi Emergency management Agency, the Oktibbeha EMA and OSERVS were all on hand, discussing the importance of having a plan when disaster strikes.

Tuesday night’s meeting was held by the Oktibbeha EMA.
