Video: Suspicious House Fire Investigation Continues

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – Macon police are trying to figure out how a house caught on fire this weekend.

Fire Chief Billy Whitehead tells WCBI no one was at the Macon house Saturday at the time of the fire. He says the circumstances are suspicious because there’s no electricity to the house. State fire marshals will be coming this week to investigate.

Volunteer firefighters arrived to smoke at this house on the corner of Boone and Lawrence streets. There’s smoke and water damage to the building.
