NESHOBA CO., Miss. (WCBI) — Three former Neshoba County employees involved in an overtime scandal will have their cases heard by jurors from Rankin County.

Tammy Gomillion, Julie Faye Russell and Jill Watkins are accused of bilking the county for about one point three million dollars.

The trio are charged with seven counts of embezzlement while in public office.

The Neshoba Democrat reports that specially-appointed Circuit Court Judge William Barnett ruled that the first trial will be held in Rankin County if a courtroom is available. If not, jurors will be brought to Neshoba County.

All three women will be tried separately.

They were fired in 2014.
