COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – One woman is sent to the hospital after two Toyotas collide at one of the busiest intersections in Columbus.

It happened just before 2 o’clock this afternoon at the intersection of Main Street and Fifth Street South.

A Toyota Sequoia ended up on its roof. Its driver suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken from the scene by ambulance to Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle.

A Toyota Camry sustained heavy front end damage, but its driver appeared to be okay.

Columbus police, fire fighters and Lowndes County deputies worked the accident.
