VIDEO: Tupelo Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrests

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop turns into a drug bust in Tupelo.

Tishunda Armstrong and Daniel Edwards were pulled over by Lee County Sheriff’s deputies for a traffic violation.

During a search, investigators say they found three ounces of methamphetamine.

Armstrong was arrested for trafficking meth, while Edwards was charged with possession.

Deputies also found nearly $5,000 dollars in cash.

Armstrong’s bond was set at $7,500 dollars.

Edwards was given a $2,500 dollar bond.
