Video: United Way Kicks Off Fundraising Campaign In Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The United Way of North Central Mississippi holds a reception tonight.

It’s the annual kick off to its fundraising campaign, held at The Mill in Starkville. People got the chance to meet representatives from the 15 agencies.

“We’re working extremely hard to identify good groups of people that are worthy and those that need our help,” volunteer board member Loren Bell said.

This United Way organization is 37 years old. It provides a wide variety of programs and service, coordinating volunteer efforts in Oktibbeha, Choctaw, Webster and Winston counties.
