WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — Dozens of kids hit the streets Friday for some parade fun for a good cause.
The parade was hosted by the Sally Kate Winters organization to bring awareness to child abuse.
Organizers say child abuse is a problem across all states, within all socioeconomic status’s and all races.
The parade featured signs made by the Pre-K students and they carried pinwheels, the symbol for child abuse awareness.
The parade is held each year in downtown West Point.
