LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Winston County’s recovery efforts are being complicated by the loss of the County’s hospital. Temporary facilities have been set up at one of the hospital’s clinic’s on Main Street in Louisville. Medical personnel are still seeing all types of injuries. They are also helping storm victims who are having to replace prescription medication.

“We have a place we have physicians, we have healthcare providers, so any medical needs we have; we’re ready to provide for them,” said Winston County EMA Director, Buddy King.

The Winston County Medical Director is working with state and federal agencies to re-establish a hospital.
