Video: Youth Council Adds New Members

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Mayor Robert Smith inducted 22 new members to the Columbus Mayor’s Youth Council Thursday night.

This is the ceremony at the Trotter Convention Center in the video above.

There are now 40 members in the council. They’re performing volunteer service and meeting with municipal leaders. They lead initiatives with the support of adult mentors.
