Warm and Dry Through the Middle of the Week

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – High pressure will keep us sunny and dry through the middle of the week, but our next cold front brings a chance for rain on Thursday and Friday.

TONIGHT: Chilly! Lows in the mid-40s.

MONDAY: Thin clouds will be over parts of the area, but they won’t hurt anything. We’ll still see plenty of sunshine, and most of us will make a run at 80° on Monday afternoon.

TUESDAY: Likely the warmest day of the week. Highs will reach the low 80s on Tuesday afternoon with lots of sunshine.

THURSDAY/FRIDAY RAIN: Clouds really start to build on Wednesday night ahead of our next cold front. Showers are likely at times on Thursday and Friday as the front passes. At this point, it looks like the best chance for rain is Thursday night and into Friday, but we’ll see how things trend. A quarter to maybe even a half-inch of rain seems possible with this system.
