Warm, Humid, Daily Rain Chance
THURSDAY NIGHT: Fairly tame weather will be had during the evening in the wake of the gusty storms earlier in the day. Temperatures will be in the 70s and eventually the 60s. Some patchy fog is possible. We can’t rule out a stray shower or storm late in the night but the odds of rain are 20% or less.
FRIDAY: Heat and humidity combined with a weather disturbance in the upper levels of the atmosphere will keep the chance of rain and storms going. We’re holding the odds at 40% for now. The odds of widespread strong weather is low but there may always be that one stray cell that stirs up some wind. Look for highs in the upper 80s to around 90 with variable wind between 3 and 8 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Lows around 70 under variably cloudy skies.
WEEKEND: Look for highs in the low 90s both Saturday and Sunday with heat indices in the mid to upper 90s. There is a 30% chance of pop-up showers and storms during the weekend, primarily during the heating of the day. Lows stay in the low 70s.
NEXT WEEK: The overall pattern is going to stay the same. If anything, temperatures may climb a degree or two with rain chances dropping just a bit for the middle of the week. We’re keeping a 30% chance of storms in the forecast for Thursday, the 4th of July.
