Warm and Muggy Through Thursday; Cooler By Week’s End.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy, with perhaps a few breaks in the clouds through the day. Temperatures climb into the 70s in the afternoon. South winds at 5-15 mph gusting as high as 20 mph. A few isolated showers are possible through the day, but not everyone sees rain. Cloudy and muggy tonight, with lows in the 60s.

THURSDAY: Breezy through the day, with winds gusting to 25 mph out of the south. Another cloudy and muggy day with high temperatures again in the 70s. A few isolated showers can’t be ruled out during the day, but the majority of the rain will come in the evening and overnight hours as a cold front pushes through our area. Temperatures drop into the 30s overnight.

FRI/SAT: Clouds decrease on Friday and much cooler air moves in behind the front. High temperatures stay in the 40s, and winds will remain breezy out of the north. Temperatures dip below freezing Friday night under partly cloudy skies. Partly cloudy to mostly sunny Saturday with highs in the upper 40s and perhaps a few low 50s. Temperatures remain above freezing Saturday night.

SUN/MON/TUE: Rain chances return to start next week and temperatures climb back into the 50s Sunday and 60s Monday and Tuesday.
