Warm & steamy holiday weekend

SATURDAY:  There is a 50% chance of showers and storms. Any storm may produce brief downpours, gusty winds, and lightning.  Keep in mind it won’t be an all day washout but be sure to have a Plan B in case rain finds your location. We’re cautiously optimistic that things will settle down for Fireworks on the Water in Columbus during the evening.  Afternoon highs should be in the upper 80s with heat indices in the mid 90s.

SUNDAY:  The chance of rain drops to 40% but a few storms and shower are certainly possible.  Highs will be around 90 with higher heat indices.

MONDAY – FRIDAY:  Typical summer weather sticks around for the 2nd half of the holiday weekend and the shortened work week. Daily rain chances remain at 30%.  Look for highs in the low 90s with heat indices pushing 100 at times. Overnight lows stay in the low 70s.
