Weapon Found in Police Shooting

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WCBI)- State investigators say the gun used to kill two police officers has been found.

This past weekend when officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate were gunned down this past weekend after a traffic stop in Hattiesburg

Today a maintenance crew cutting grass near the area, found a .40 caliber handgun.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation says the gun was tested at the state crime lab in Biloxi, and ballistics confirmed it is the weapon that was used to shoot the officers.
