Webster County Convenience Store Catches Fire

WEBSTER CO., Miss. (WCBI) – Heavy fire damage to a local convenience store is reported this morning in Belfountaine.

It happened about 5:30 Monday morning.

The store is 7 miles north of Eupora on Highway 9.

Webster County volunteer firefighters worked the blaze. There were no injuries.

Only about 30% of the interior was destroyed, but fire crews were able to save the rest of the building.

This is the second weekend fire at a local store in about 3 weeks.

The cause is under investigation.
