Webster County Sheriff’s Department Makes Meth Arrests

EUPORA, Miss. – On the 29th of Aug 2015 Webster County Deputies made a traffic stop on Hwy 9 in Eupora. The traffic stop led to the finding of a small amount of Crystal Meth, a pipe, and used syringe. Amanda Hill was placed under arrest for the possession of Crystal Meth with the intent to distribute plus traffic violations, and transported to the Webster County Jail.

A bond was set on the suspect for $5ooo.00. There were two other subjects in the vehicle at the time of arrest. One was released by MDOC and the other still remains in Webster County Jail on hold by MDOC.

Sheriff Mitchell stated that Crystal Meth has taken a strong hold here in Mississippi. He stated that he wants to warn of the strong addiction this drug has and the terrible health hazards the drug has on the user. Sheriff Mitchell wants to stress to the community his determination to rid Webster County of this poison, before it destroys any more lives. Sheriff Mitchell also wanted to take this opportunity to reach out to those struggling with addiction. Please seek help by any means.
