Weekend Showers, Warmer Next Week

SATURDAY: There is an 80% chance of rain showers. Most of our area has the potential between 0.10″ and 0.30″ but locations north of US 278 may see up to 0.75″ of rain or more. Highs are going to range from near 50 along the Tennessee border to the upper 60s south of Columbus. Look for variable winds between 5 and 15 mph.

SUNDAY: A fair amount of clouds are likely along with a 30% chance of afternoon showers. Highs should moderate back into the low 60s during the day.

NEXT WEEK: Unseasonably mild weather is now expected all week long. Highs are going to be well into the 70s Monday and Tuesday and a few spots may get up to 80. A frontal boundary has the potential to give our area some heavy rain and perhaps some storms Wednesday into Tuesday.
