West Lowndes JROTC Honors Veterans

LOWNDES, CO (WCBI)- Honoring those who stand before us, to tell the story. That message was on the hearts and minds, of Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps members, at West Lowndes High School.

A special program was held Friday morning, inside the school gym.

Students looked on quietly, as veterans and their families were celebrated.

JROTC members held a somber flag folding ceremony, right before a guest speaker came to the podium.

Reverend Nathaniel Houston, a veteran himself, reminded the crowd of the many sacrifices soldiers make everyday.
