West Nile case reported in Calhoun County, statewide total rises to 17

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Calhoun becomes the latest Mississippi county with a confirmed West Nile virus patient.

That discovery brings the 2018 total to 17 human cases.

Itawamba, Prentiss and Oktibbeha Counties have all seen a single case of the mosquito borne disease.
