West Point Police Toy Drive

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – West Point Police is looking for wanted subjects… toys for their toy drive.

The department has been collecting donations at the local Dollar General and the Police headquarters.

Police take this as a opportunity to connect with the city on a level deeper than just keeping the peace.

“It’s a wonderful thing. I mean, since I’ve been here, we’ve been all about the community, the whole community, and we want to do all that we can for those in need here in the community. The toy drive is one of those things we decided to do,” says Captain Virginia Rich.

The cutoff date for donations is December 15th.

The department will give out the donations on the 22nd.
